ANDREW WEIGEL, Councilman from the Fourth Ward, and Vice President of the City Council, was born Nov. 19th, 1851, in Adams county, Pennsylvania. He came to Tiffin in the summer of 1872 and has since resided here. Mr. Weigel spent the younger days of his life on the farm, and at the age of 15 years apprenticed as a carpenter, to which trade he has devoted his time ever since. After coming to Tiffin he was for 9 years in the employ of Joseph P. Myers and for a like period in that of the Tiffin Manufacturing Company. For the past 7 years he has been connected with the Enterprise Manufacturing Company as one of their skilled workmen. In the spring of 1895 he was elected a member of the City Council as a Democrat fro the Fourth Ward and again re-elected in April of the present year. Besides being Vice President of the Council he is also chairman of the Printing and Street Committees. Mr. Weigel resides at No. 151 Sycamore street.
