John C. Miller

JOHN C. MILLER, Councilman from the First Ward, was born in Bloom township, this county, Sept. 23d, 1849. He was engaged in the barber business at Bloomville, Ohio, previous to coming to Tiffin in 1880. Since his residence in this city Mr. Miller has had charge of the Shawhan House Barber Shop, where he has done a successful and prosperous business. In the spring of 1893 he was elected a member of the City Council from the First Ward as a Republican, and again re-elected to the same in the spring of 1895. Mr. Miller is now Chairman of the Law, Contract and Insurance Committee and last year served as Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is a member of Tiffin Lodge No. 80, K. of P., and the Uniformed Rank No. 17, of which societies he is at present the efficient treasurer, and which he has thus, served for the past 7 years. Mr. Miller resides at No.165 East Perry street.
