ALFRED LANDON was born the 24th day of August, 1823, in the County of Sussex, in the State of New Jersey; came to Ohio in 1853; was admitted to the bar in 1855; was prosecuting attorney of Seneca County from 1861 to 1865, and held the position as Mayor of Tiffin, Ohio, from 1863 to 1869. Mr. Landon is an intelligent lawyer, and much liked by his fellow-members of the bar for his facetious turn of mind and sprightly social qualities.
