MRS. C. M. HOLTZ, of Adams Township, Seneca County, Ohio, is the relict of C. M. Holtz, Esq., who during many years was a prominent farmer of Seneca County. At his death the homestead upon which Mrs. H. now resides reverted to her, and has been conducted under her supervision with a marked degree or success. The farm is a large one, but is kept in a perfect state of cultivation, and it is, together with the residence and out-buildings, one of the neatest and best-preserved homesteads in the County. Mrs. Holtz has sons residing in a neighboring Township, all of whom are practical and well-to-do farmers. The subject of this sketch is generally considered by her many friends a lady of ability in the management of her property, and a true Christian woman and mother. Having been accustomed to the farm and household for many years, and having enjoyed good health, she will doubtless exceed by many years the allotted "three-score years and ten." She possesses a strong constitution and gives exceeding great promise of a long and prosperous life.
