Theodore M. Engemann

T. C. ENGEMANN, Councilman from the Fifth Ward, was born in Warburg, Germany, May 31st, 1862, and came to this country, locating at New Washington, Ohio, in 1880, and residing there unti1 1891, when he removed to this city in July of that year. Previous to and since locating in Tiffin Mr. Engemann was engaged for 5 years as traveling salesman for the Tiffin brewery, and for 2 years for a Toledo brewery. In the fall of 1896 he started in the restaurant business on Market street which he is now conducting. In April, 1895, he was elected as Councilman from the Fifth Ward, as a Democrat, and again re-elected in the spring of 1897. Mr. Engemann is Chairman of the Railroad Committee and a member of other important committees. He resides at 231 Jefferson street.
