PETER BUCHMAN, farmer, P. O. Tiffin, was born in this county in June, 1842. His parents, John and Magdalena
Buchman, were natives of Switzerland, where they were married and remained till about 1840, at which time they
came to America, settled in this county, and there remained until the death of the latter, which occurred October 4,
1868. Mr. Buchman now resides with his children. Our subject was united in marriage, April 10, 1867, with
Catharine Senn, born in this county May 23, 1843, a daughter of John and Catharine Senn, the former of whom
was born in Switzerland, the latter in Belgium; they were married in Tiffin, Ohio, and first settled in Seneca
County, Ohio, and from there removed to Pulaski County, Ind., where they nowreside. To our subject and wife
have been born three children: Mary E., Maggie C. and Rosa A. Mr. Buchman is one of the prosperous farmers of
this county, and owns 163 acres of improved land. He and his family are members of the Catholic Church.
