
HARRY P. BLACK, the present efficient City Solicitor, is a native of Baltimore, Md., where he was born April 4th, l870. He came to Tiffin Oct. 15th, 1892. In March, 1893 he was admitted to the Bar by the Supreme Court of Ohio. Immediately upon his admission to the Bar he entered into partnership with his preceptor for the practice of the law, under the firm name of Platt & Black, and this relation has continued to the present, their office being located a No. 17 Court street. In April, 1894, Mr. Black was elected to the office of Township Clerk of Clinton township, and again re-elected in April, 1896. In the spring of 1897 he was elected to the office of City Solicitor as a Democrat, in which capacity he is now ably serving the citizens of Tiffin. Mr. Black is one of the youngest, if the the youngest, solicitor elected to this office in the city.
